My name is Zahrah Khurram and I am the 2026/2027 Sustainability Representative, majoring in Experimental Animation. Over the past year, I have worked independently and as an executive for the ECOCAD student group, connecting with the community within and outside of OCAD U to engage with the environment, sustainability and student wellness.

Message to students: I'd like to support student-led discussions about their environmental and ethical concerns with generative AI, climate action, and renewable energy. I intend to connect and collaborate with existing campus efforts promoting sustainability such as the Reuse Depots, the Pollinator Garden, and the student groups focused on improving our culminating environmental impact.
